The Treasures Of The Snow

[Rev 1:7 KJV] 7 Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

[Job 38:22 KJV] 22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

[Psa 148:8 KJV] 8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

[Deu 32:2 KJV] 2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distill as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

[Job 36:28 KJV] 28 Which the clouds do drop [and] distill upon man abundantly.

Job was asked a question; “Have you entered into the treasures of the snow”?

As improbable as it may seem, the common saying that no two snowflakes are exactly alike is true. Over the millennium, countless trillions upon trillions of snowflakes have been formed in the clouds, and made their way to the earth. In one snowfall alone in your back yard, you would be astonished at the number. There is in these facts, a tremendous witness and statement about the Lord. That He is not a proselytizer…He does not crank out clones or duplicates, or adherents to doctrine. In a place, He said that the Son of man was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath for the Son of man. Therefore nothing formed, or proclaimed to bear witness to Him, can supersede Him.

The creation of a snowflake is a marvellous study. There is one common denominator in all the process. One constituent in every snowflake. Simply put, it is water. In it’s basic constitution, every snowflake consists of water molecules arranged and assembled into the final product. And while every snowflake shares in this identical constituent, no two snowflakes are ever identical in their final expression. They differ because the trillions of molecules in each snowflake are never arranged and assembled in the exact same configuration.

The Lord has said that His word and teaching distill as the clouds, the dew and the rain. Clouds which float so lightly in the sky are composed of water droplets. The droplets are so small that they are held aloft by the motion of the air. The droplets are typically about a million times lighter than a raindrop, and a very small fraction of the diameter of the typical human hair. Clouds, like snow, appear white because they do not absorb light. They are transparent, as is a snowflake. The sun provides the energy to cause water vapour to rise from the land and the seas. It’s like vapour rising above a boiling pot of water, only on a far grander, and perpetual scale. The process of distillation separates water from land and sea, into it’s true essence, that of water molecules. This process is described in a way by Peter, who said to desire the sincere, or unadulterated milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby. This is the Word unfolded to you by the Author, the Spirit of Truth and of God. It is not fact checked by religion, by politics, by society, nor any other facet of human existence. It is exactly what Jesus said, that He would come to you and lead you unto all truth. John also said that the anointing that you have received of Him abides in you (not comes and goes, but abides), and you need not that any man should teach you, for the anointing Himself shall teach you of all things.

When the conditions of temperature, humidity, etc. In a cloud are right, a water droplet freezes into a crystal. As the crystal gathers vapour from around itself, this too freezes and is added to the crystal. The process in each snowflake take it’s own unique path through variations of temperature, humidity, etc., resulting in a unique and one of a kind flake that drifts to the earth. This, in my mind, is absolutely astounding…how every flake is made of water, but none are made exactly alike.

There is a phrase often used in the scriptures to describe this in a person. It is written in several places that in Him, every one of us sits “Under his own fig and his own vine”. In scripture, the Fig, the Vine (Grape) and the Olive are often used to depict the fullness of God, the Father, the Son and the Spirit , who are all one. Jesus said that if any love Him, he will keep His words, and He and His Father will make their abode with him. It is also written that our fellowship is truly with the Father and with the Son. But in the saying of sitting under the Fig and the Vine, it does not in any place say anyone sits under his own Olive. This puzzled me for years, until I understood that each of us has his/her unique, and absolutely unique relationship with the Father and with the Son, shared with none but the Father and the Son. But what we all have absolutely in common, is the Spirit. By one Spirit are we baptized into one body. We are not “many teachers’, because we all have the Teacher. The treasures of the snow are the perfect example. All are 100% water. No two were lead down the same path of creation, making each unique and gloriously different.

Jesus said that if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father (and so, how can you say, “show us the Father”?) Similarly he said to the seat of religion, “You will see my face no more until you say , blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. I suppose it not robbery to say, IF any has seen someone in Christ, they have seen Christ. But if one confines the thinking to bodily form, one will likely not “see”.

There is a lot of speculation about the Lord’s coming. And among the speculators, one aspect of it has been totally overlooked, in that He said He would come to you in the Spirit. But the Lord has not given to us a spirit of speculation, but of knowledge in the revelation of Him. It does not say the Spirit will lead you into speculation, but into knowledge.

So when we read that “He cometh with clouds”, we may KNOW he is not talking about water vapour, but them who are begotten to God by the Spirit. The clouds of heaven are not water vapour, they are a people. So inseparably one are we with Him, that it says when He shall appear, we shall also appear with Him in glory. The temple is in the earth now.

Jesus warned of the mechanics of religion, that it compasses sea and land to make one proselyte, and when that conversion in complete, it is two-fold the child of hell that the converters are. Jesus hate both the deeds and doctrine of them. There is one instance in which snowflakes can look alike. It is in the simplistic snowflakes formed artificially in a laboratory.

Be encouraged and be yourself in Him. Have faith in the operation of God, who has no desire that you be made conformable to one another. Read and pray. The one thing that makes you all one, is the One Spirit who makes you all different and unique.
