Paul began this writing in declaring how that our hope is not in the world, not in the affairs of flesh in this life. It is in the resurrection. Jesus revealed that the kingdom of God can not be inherited by flesh and blood. It does not either come by observation. That is to say by looking and searching every quarter and point of this present creation and age to discern from where the Lord and the kingdom of God will come and appear. It will come and appear only from where it is. The kingdom of God is within you. In concluding, Paul spoke how that not all will sleep, which is to say, physically depart. But all will be changed. And those who are still in flesh will not pre-vent them who are not. All will be unveiled together.

The undeniable principle Paul used to help the understanding, is that of a seed. The irrefutable mechanics of a seed is that when planted, what comes up is not a big seed. It is what is written and encoded in the seed. All of what was written and recorded in the seed derives completely from the plant that produced the first seed that went into the ground. To say that what you sow is not quickened except it die, and what is sown is not the body that shall come, but what body is encoded in the seed. An to every seed God has given a body as it has pleased Him.

A seed that is planted draws the things it needs from the soil. It processes and builds according to the pattern written in it. As many as have received Christ and believed on Him, have received power to become sons of God. Not which are born of flesh, or blood or the will of man. But which are born of God. And the unveiling and manifestation of this great work is what the creation groans and travails for. Not the product of intermingling and meddling with the world and age, but the product of what begins in faith, is built in faith and in the revelation of Christ in you.

We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus, unto GOOD works which God has determined beforehand, that we should walk in them. It is expected that we be formed and fashioned according to the likeness of Him in whom we are created.

[Heb 6:1-8 KJV] 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit. 4 For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame. 7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers [is] rejected, and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned.

I do a lot of gardening. I know what I am expecting as the end result. What makes it into our house for the table or the pantry, is not dirt, fertilizer, microbes, weeds, bugs, or anything else that the garden on the whole, consists of. And even the spent plants I planted, once harvested, never see the inside of the house. They go either to the compost pile, or if possibly harboring harmful bacteria or pests, they go to the burn pile. None of these discarded things will ever see the inside of my house.

Our crown and hope is our very presence in the Lord Jesus Christ at His coming.
